12 volt positive earth return system includes a compensated voltage control dynamo together with a 38amp. hour at 10 hour rating battery in petrol models, 75 amp. hour at 10 hour rating in diesel models. "Lucas" flush fitting pre-focused, sealed reflector headlamps with double filament bulbs and F.700 block lens units are recessed into the front panel and are controlled by a foot-operated dip switch. Combined side lamp/flasher units are mounted outside the headlamp units, whilst a combined rear light/'stop' light/flasher/reflector cluster is mounted in each rear corner panel. Separate number plate illumination is provided. An interior light with integral switch is conveniently placed in the centre of the front header panel. Two windscreen wipers designed to suit the wrap-around windscreen and mounted at the top of the screen are driven by a single-speed electric motor centrally placed behind the header panel and operated by a switch on the instrument panel. The horn push is situated in the centre of the steering wheel and a self-cancelling 'stalk' type flashing direction indicator control is mounted on the steering column.
